Bel-Art's safety labeled wash bottles are designed for enhanced workplace safety, featuring Department of Transportation (DOT) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and symbols, along with the Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) number, protective equipment symbols, and target organ information. These bottles are easy to read and include a wide mouth design, measuring 53mm (2") for convenient refilling. Made from translucent, low-density polyethylene (LDPE) that is solvent-resistant, the sodium hypochlorite bottle is constructed from white LDPE for light protection between 230 and 450nm, while the toluene bottle is red LDPE. The bottles come with polypropylene closures and comply with OSHA requirements as outlined in the Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200.
