Unique Tabs protect your samples from loss and contamination, allowing for the placement of tubes in slots and sliding them under the tabs to keep tubes in place and caps closed when under pressure, floating, or submerged. This product is suitable for use in water baths, ice, or on the benchtop. The immobilizing tabs prevent tube tops from popping open during boiling and can hold up to twelve 1.5 ml or 2.0 ml microcentrifuge tubes in numbered locations. It features a raised handle for easy lifting and stable feet that keep the rack upright on the bench. With a 95 mm (3") outer diameter, it fits most 1000 ml beakers. An optional vortexing attachment allows samples to be vortexed simultaneously. Made of polypropylene, it is steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F).
