Made especially for use with beakers and water baths, these space-saving racks are ideal for small quantities of tubes and for use in cell culture laboratories. The kit includes racks that are perfect for incubating microtubes in a beaker of water, constructed from buoyant TPX® brand polymethylpentene featuring tiny bubbles throughout for additional buoyancy. Users can insert tubes from the top and easily remove them by pressing the rack down on the bench. The racks withstand boiling for 30 minutes at 100°C (212°F) and are steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F). Each rack has a leg length of 19mm (3/4") and a thickness of 6.4mm (1/4").
