The Sterileware® bent handle sterile scoops feature a curved handle design that positions the hand further from the sample compared to straight handle scoops, thereby reducing the risk of sample contamination and minimizing exposure of hands or personal protective equipment (PPE) to unwanted substances. The flat bottom design keeps the scoops upright on flat surfaces, making them ideal for use as weigh boats. Constructed from durable, FDA grade polystyrene plastic, these scoops are safe for food, drug, and cosmetic contact. They are individually packaged and sterilized by gamma irradiation, with each lot stamped for accurate lot tracing and shipped with a certificate of processing for sterilization. It is important to note that sterilized products are not returnable. These sampling scoops are specifically designed for retrieving samples from larger sources, with capacity estimates based on typical heaping samples rather than for taking exact sample weights or volumes.
