Made especially for use with beakers and waterbaths, these space-saving racks are ideal for small quantities of tubes and for use in cell culture laboratories. The kit includes racks designed for incubating microtubes in a beaker of water. Constructed from buoyant TPX® brand polymethylpentene, the racks feature tiny bubbles throughout for additional buoyancy. Tubes can be easily inserted from the top and removed by pressing the rack down on the bench. The racks can withstand boiling for 30 minutes at a temperature of 100°C (212°F) and are steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F). The dimensions of the racks include a leg length of 19mm (3/4") and a thickness of 6.4mm (1/4").
