The filter utilizes a silver impregnated carbon block that provides antimicrobial protection against potential bacteria, microorganisms, algae, mold, and slime on ice machine surfaces. Engineered with slow PHOS (slowly soluble polyphosphate), it inhibits scale formation and corrosion.
