Protective coating 374 is a water-based coating specifically recommended for weather protection on K-Flex USA closed-cell tubing and sheet insulations in outdoor applications. It features a flexible, satin finish that is both decorative and protective, making it ideal for a variety of uses both indoors and outdoors. For indoor applications, the coating provides a tough, cleanable surface and can be tinted with common pigment pastes used for tinting latex paint, with pigments added at a rate of less than 4.3 oz./gal. The coating is also free of solvent odors. For outdoor applications, it protects against the harmful effects of UV rays; however, it should not be confused with a waterproof mastic and is not suitable for areas prone to water ponding. The product is sold in a package quantity of 4, with each unit priced individually.
