Product Details
This product is a yellow, grit-free, slow-set, soft-set, non-hardening, non-toxic pipe joint compound that is easy to use and clean. It does not transfer any taste or odor to the system being sealed and is excellent for food and water systems. The compound is compatible with all metals, ABS, PVC, CPVC, fiberglass, nylon, polypropylene, Celcon, Cycolac, polybutylene, Delrin, polyethylene, and Zytel plastics, making it suitable for systems carrying most liquids and gases, though it is not recommended for use on oxygen lines. The temperature range for gases and liquids is -50 F (-45 C) to +400 F (+204 C), while it can withstand pressure ranges for gases up to 3,000 PSI and liquids up to 6,000 PSI. It remains brushable at temperatures as low as -50 F (-45 C) and is composed of non-toxic inert oils and carbonates, containing no lead or silicone. The product is NSF certified, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
