The kit contains slow setting cement suitable for CPVC pipe and fittings up to 12 inches in diameter, designed for use with cold and hot potable water at temperatures up to 180°F (82°C). It is NSF certified and complies with ASTM standards D-2846 and F-493. For optimal bonding, it is recommended to use either the clear or purple primer. The shelf life of the product is limited to 2 years from the date on the can, and it features a low VOC formulation.
