Constructed using heavy-duty injection molded nylon 11, the 6-1/4 inch insulated wire strippers are ideal for use in a wide variety of utility, electrical, and telecommunication applications. These wire strippers feature a built-in adjustment screw and accommodate a wide range of solid and stranded wire sizes. They are engineered with nylon 11 for maximum personal protection and exceed international standards, including IEC 60900:2012 and ASTM F1505. Rated for "live line" applications at 1,000 volts, they are virtually indestructible, being cut, abrasion, and impact resistant, and can withstand temperature extremes from -40°F to 158°F (-40°C to 70°C). These tools also meet stringent requirements for cold impact rating and are 100% inspected, tested to 10,000 volts, and rated to 1,000 volts.
