Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are engineered for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose installations that benefit from cooler-running, non-enclosed motors. Available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125 HP, these premium efficiency ODP motors operate at speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM, with voltage options including 208-230/460 Volt at 60 Hz and 190/380 Volt at 50 Hz. The motors feature an open drip proof enclosure, with a rolled steel frame for models ranging from 1/2 to 50 HP and a cast iron frame for 60 to 100 HP. They include IP23 protection, a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications), class F insulation, and a rigid base designed for a 56C-face with a removable base. Other specifications include a class B temperature rise, inverter duty capabilities with a 10:1 continuous torque and 20:1 variable torque (1.0 SF), and inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. Installation is made simple with pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and larger for Inpro current diverter rings, as well as double drilled feet for mounting flexibility (143T-404T). Additionally, 254T and larger models are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
