Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are specifically designed for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and various general-purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are preferred. These premium efficiency ODP motors come in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125, operating at speeds of 3600, 1800, or 1200 RPM, and are compatible with voltages of 208-230/460 Volt at 60 Hz or 190/380 Volt at 50 Hz. They feature an open drip proof enclosure, a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP models, and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP models, along with IP23 protection and a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications). The motors incorporate Class F insulation and a rigid base (56C-face with removable base) for enhanced support. They are designed for premium efficiency with a Class B temperature rise and inverter duty rated at 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT (1.0 SF). The inverter grade magnet wire meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 part 31 standards, while the exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system enhances durability. Features such as pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on frames 143T and up facilitate the installation of Inpro current diverter rings without the need for machining, and double drilled feet on the 143T-404T models allow for flexible mounting options. Additionally, motors sized 254T and larger can be converted from F1 to F2 mounting configurations.
