Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are meticulously designed for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general-purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are essential. These premium efficiency ODP motors are available in horsepower ratings ranging from 1/2 to 125 HP, operating at speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM. They support voltages of 208-230/460 volts at 60 Hz, as well as 190/380 volts at 50 Hz. The motors feature an open drip proof enclosure, with rolled steel frames for 1/2-50 HP and cast iron frames for 60-100 HP, providing IP23 protection and a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications). Class F insulation ensures durability, while a rigid base (56C-face with removable base) allows for easy installation. The design includes a Class B temperature rise, inverter duty capabilities with a 10:1 CT and 20:1 VT at 1.0 SF, and inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. Additionally, the motors feature pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on the 143T frame and above for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings without machining. The exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system enhances reliability, and double drilled feet on models 143T-404T provide mounting flexibility. Models 254T and larger are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
