Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are meticulously designed for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose applications where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are advantageous. Available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125, these premium efficiency ODP motors operate at speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM, and are compatible with voltages of 208-230/460 Volt, 60 Hz and 190/380 Volt, 50 Hz. The motors feature an open drip proof enclosure, with a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP, along with IP23 protection, 1.15 service factor (1.0 service factor for 50 Hz applications), Class F insulation, and a rigid base (56C-face with removable base). They offer a Class B temperature rise and are inverter duty rated with a 10:1 continuous torque and 20:1 voltage tolerance at 1.0 service factor. The inverter grade magnet wire meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. Additionally, the motors include pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on the 143T frame and above for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings, a unique double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system, double drilled feet for mounting flexibility (143T-404T), and 254T and larger frames suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
