Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are specifically designed for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are preferable. Available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125, these premium efficiency motors feature options such as 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM, operating at voltages of 208-230/460 Volt, 60 Hz and 190/380 Volt, 50 Hz. The motors are housed in an open drip proof (ODP) enclosure with rolled steel frames for 1/2-50 HP and cast iron frames for 60-100 HP, complying with IP23 protection standards. They maintain a 1.15 service factor (1.0 service factor for 50 Hz applications) and utilize Class F insulation with a Class B temperature rise. The designs are inverter duty capable, featuring a 10:1 continuous torque and 20:1 variable torque rating (1.0 SF), while the inverter grade magnet wire meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 part 31 standards. Additionally, the motors come equipped with pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frames and larger for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings, a double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system for enhanced longevity, and double drilled feet for mounting flexibility on frames 143T-404T. Motors sized 254T and larger are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion. The product also includes a standard warranty for added assurance.
