Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are engineered for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general-purpose applications where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are preferred. These premium efficiency ODP motors come in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125 and operate at speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM. They are available in 208-230/460 volt, 60 Hz and 190/380 volt, 50 Hz configurations. The motors feature an open drip proof (ODP) enclosure, with a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP. They provide IP23 protection, a 1.15 service factor (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications), and are built with Class F insulation. The rigid base (56C-face with removable base) supports premium efficiency and Class B temperature rise specifications. Additionally, these motors are inverter duty with a 10:1 constant torque and 20:1 variable torque rating (1.0 SF) and use inverter-grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. They have pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and larger to accept Inpro current diverter rings, ensuring easy installation without machining. The exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system enhances durability, while double-drilled feet on the 143T-404T models allow for mounting flexibility. Motors sized 254T and larger are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
