Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are engineered for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose applications where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are preferred. These premium efficiency ODP motors range from 1/2 to 125 horsepower and operate at speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM, with voltage support for 208-230/460 volt at 60 Hz and 190/380 volt at 50 Hz. The motors feature an open drip proof enclosure, rolled steel frames for 1/2-50 HP, and cast iron frames for 60-100 HP, ensuring IP23 protection and a 1.15 service factor (1.0 service factor for 50 Hz applications). The Class F insulation and rigid base (56C-face with removable base) provide durability, while the Class B temperature rise and inverter duty ratings of 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT (1.0 SF) enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the motors utilize inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 specifications. They come equipped with pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on frames 143T and larger for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings, and feature an exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system for reliability. The double drilled feet accommodate mounting flexibility for frames 143T-404T, with frames 254T and larger suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
