Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are engineered for use in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general-purpose applications requiring cooler-running, non-enclosed motors. These premium efficiency ODP motors range from 1/2 to 125 horsepower and operate at 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM. They are available in voltages of 208-230/460 volts at 60 Hz and 190/380 volts at 50 Hz. The motors feature an open drip proof enclosure, with a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP. Certified with an IP23 degree of protection, they offer a 1.15 service factor (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications) and Class F insulation, along with a rigid base (56C-face with removable base). These motors also have a Class B temperature rise, are inverter duty rated with a 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT (1.0 SF), and use inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31. Additionally, they incorporate a double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system, double drilled feet for enhanced mounting flexibility on 143T-404T frames, and are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion for frames 254T and larger.
