Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are specifically designed for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general-purpose installations requiring cooler-running, non-enclosed motors. These premium efficiency ODP motors are available in horsepower ratings ranging from 1/2 to 125 HP, with speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM. They operate on 208-230/460 Volt, 60 Hz, and 190/380 Volt, 50 Hz power supplies, featuring an open drip proof enclosure for enhanced durability. The motors exhibit IP23 degree of protection, a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP sizes, and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP sizes. They provide a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications) and utilize Class F insulation with a Class B temperature rise. Additionally, these motors are inverter duty rated with a 10:1 continuous torque and 20:1 voltage transformation ratio at 1.0 SF. They feature an exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system, pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and up for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings, and double drilled feet for mounting flexibility (143T-404T). Furthermore, 254T and larger models are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion, complying with industry standards and ensuring reliability across various industrial and commercial applications.
