Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are designed and engineered for use in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are ideal. These premium efficiency ODP motors are available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125 and feature an IP23 degree of protection and a double vacuum pressure impregnation process for winding insulation. They offer a range of features including 1/2-125 HP ratings, speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM, and voltage options of 208-230/460 Volt at 60 Hz and 190/380 Volt at 50 Hz. With an open drip proof enclosure, rolling steel frames for 1/2-50 HP and cast iron frames for 60-100 HP, these motors ensure durability. Additional specifications include a service factor of 1.15 SF (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications), Class F insulation, a rigid base with a 56C-face and removable base, premium efficiency, Class B temperature rise, inverter duty ratings of 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT (1.0 SF), and inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31. They also feature pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frames and larger to accept Inpro current diverter rings for easy installation, an exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system, double drilled feet for mounting flexibility (143T-404T), and suitability for F1 to F2 conversion for 254T and larger models.
