Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are engineered for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general-purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are essential. The motors are available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125, with speed options of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM. They operate at voltages of 208-230/460 Volt at 60 Hz and 190/380 Volt at 50 Hz. The ODP enclosure provides IP23 protection, while the motor frames are made of rolled steel for 1/2-50 HP and cast iron for 60-100 HP. Key features include a 1.15 service factor (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications), Class F insulation, a rigid base on 56C-face with a removable base, premium efficiency, Class B temperature rise, inverter duty ratings of 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT (1.0 SF), and inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. The motors also feature pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on the 143T frame and larger, allowing for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings without machining. Additionally, they have double drilled feet for mounting flexibility (143T-404T), and the 254T and larger models are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
