Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are specifically designed and engineered for use in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general-purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are preferred. These premium efficiency ODP motors are available in horsepower ratings ranging from 1/2 to 125 HP and feature a rotational speed of 3600, 1800, or 1200 RPM. They operate on a voltage of 208-230/460 Volt at 60 Hz and 190/380 Volt at 50 Hz. Key attributes include an open drip proof (ODP) enclosure, rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP, and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP, providing IP23 protection. The motors have a service factor of 1.15 SF (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications) and utilize Class F insulation with a rigid base (56C-face with removable base), emphasizing premium efficiency and a Class B temperature rise. Additionally, they are inverter-duty rated with a 10:1 current torque (CT) and 20:1 voltage torque (VT) at 1.0 SF. The inverter grade magnet wire utilized in these motors meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. Features also include pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frames and above for Inpro current diverter rings installation, an exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system, double drilled feet for mounting flexibility (143T-404T), and suitability for F1 to F2 conversion for 254T and larger models.
