Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are specifically designed and engineered for use in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general-purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are ideal. The motors are available in horsepower ratings ranging from 1/2 to 125 HP, with RPM options of 3600, 1800, and 1200. They operate on 208-230/460 Volt at 60 Hz and 190/380 Volt at 50 Hz. Key features include an open drip proof (ODP) enclosure, rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP, and cast iron frame for 60-100 HP, providing IP23 protection. The motors have a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications), Class F insulation, and a rigid base with a 56C-face and removable base. They boast premium efficiency, Class B temperature rise, and inverter duty with a 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT rating (1.0 SF). Additionally, the inverter grade magnet wire meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards, and the design includes pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and up for the easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings. The exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system and double drilled feet for mounting flexibility (143T-404T) enhance the versatility of these motors, with models 254T and larger suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
