Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are meticulously designed for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general-purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are necessary. These premium efficiency ODP motors are available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125 and operate at speeds of 3600, 1800, or 1200 RPM, with voltage options of 208-230/460 volts at 60 Hz and 190/380 volts at 50 Hz. The motors feature an ODP enclosure, with rolled steel frames for 1/2-50 HP and cast iron frames for 60-100 HP. They provide IP23 protection, a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications), and utilize Class F insulation with a Class B temperature rise. The rigid base is designed for 56C-face motors with a removable base, and they are inverter duty rated with a 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT at a 1.0 SF. The inverter grade magnet wire complies with or exceeds NEMA MG-1 part 31 standards. Additionally, these motors come with pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on the 143T frame and larger for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings, an exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system, and double-drilled feet for flexible mounting options. Models sized 254T and larger are also suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
