Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are meticulously engineered for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general-purpose installations where non-enclosed motors excel in cooler running conditions. The motors are available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125 and operate at speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM, with voltage options of 208-230/460 volts at 60 Hz and 190/380 volts at 50 Hz. They feature an ODP enclosure, rolled steel frames for 1/2-50 HP models, and cast iron frames for 60-100 HP models, along with IP23 degree of protection, a 1.15 service factor (1.0 for 50 Hz applications), and Class F insulation. Additionally, these motors provide a rigid base (56C-face with removable base), premium efficiency, Class B temperature rise, and inverter duty capabilities with a 10:1 constant torque (CT) and 20:1 variable torque (VT) rating at a 1.0 service factor. The inverter-grade magnet wire meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards, and they come equipped with pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frames and larger to accept Inpro current diverter rings for straightforward installation. The exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system enhances durability, while double-drilled feet allow for mounting flexibility on 143T-404T models, and 254T and larger versions are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
