Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are meticulously designed and engineered for use in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general-purpose installations, offering a cooler-running, non-enclosed motor solution ideal for various industrial and commercial applications. The premium efficiency ODP motors feature horsepower ratings ranging from 1/2 to 125 HP, with speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM. They operate on 208-230/460 Volt, 60 Hz or 190/380 Volt, 50 Hz power supply and come with an open drip proof enclosure. The motors are constructed with a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP, providing IP23 protection and a 1.15 service factor (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications). They utilize Class F insulation with a Class B temperature rise and are inverter duty rated with a 10:1 continuous torque and 20:1 voltage tolerance at 1.0 SF. The inverter grade magnet wire meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards, and the motors feature pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frames and up, allowing for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings without additional machining. The exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system enhances durability, while double-drilled feet on 143T-404T models provide mounting flexibility. Additionally, 254T and larger motors are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
