Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are specifically engineered for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general-purpose installations that require cooler-running, non-enclosed motors. Available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125, these premium efficiency ODP motors feature IP23 degree of protection and a double vacuum pressure impregnation process for winding insulation. The motors operate at speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM with voltage options of 208-230/460 Volt at 60 Hz, and 190/380 Volt at 50 Hz. They come with an open drip proof enclosure, a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP units, and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP units. These motors also have a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications), Class F insulation, rigid base configurations with a 56C-face and removable base, and a Class B temperature rise. Designed for inverter duty with a 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT (1.0 SF), the inverter-grade magnet wire utilized in these motors meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. The design includes pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and larger for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings without the need for machining. Additionally, the double drilled feet allow for mounting flexibility on models 143T-404T, and the 254T and larger models are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
