Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are specifically designed for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose applications where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are preferable. These premium efficiency ODP motors are available in horsepower ratings ranging from 1/2 to 125 and operate at speeds of 3600, 1800, or 1200 RPM, with voltage options including 208-230/460 volt at 60 Hz and 190/380 volt at 50 Hz. The motors feature an open drip proof enclosure, a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP units, and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP units. With IP23 degree of protection, a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications), and Class F insulation, these motors ensure reliable operation. They possess a rigid base (56C-face with removable base), premium efficiency capability, and a Class B temperature rise. Additionally, they are inverter duty rated with a 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT (1.0 SF), and the inverter grade magnet wire complies with or exceeds NEMA MG-1 part 31 standards. The motors are equipped with pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and up for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings, and they utilize an exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system. Further, double drilled feet offer mounting flexibility (143T-404T), and 254T and larger frames are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
