Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are designed for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general-purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are preferred. These premium efficiency ODP motors are available in horsepower ratings ranging from 1/2 to 125 and operate at speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM. They function on 208-230/460 volt, 60 Hz or 190/380 volt, 50 Hz power supply. The motors feature an open drip proof enclosure with IP23 protection, a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP. They are designed with a 1.15 service factor (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications), Class F insulation, and a rigid base (56C-face with removable base). These motors also offer a Class B temperature rise, inverter duty capabilities with a 10:1 continuous torque and 20:1 voltage torque (1.0 SF), and inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 part 31 standards. They come with pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on the 143T frame and larger for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings, along with an exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system. Additionally, the motors have double drilled feet for mounting flexibility (143T-404T) and sizes 254T and larger are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
