Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are engineered for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose applications where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are advantageous. These premium efficiency ODP motors come in horsepower ratings ranging from 1/2 to 125 HP, with speed options of 3600, 1800, or 1200 RPM. They operate at 208-230/460 Volt, 60 Hz and 190/380 Volt, 50 Hz, featuring an open drip proof enclosure and offering IP23 protection. The 1/2-50 HP models have a rolled steel frame, while the 60-100 HP models utilize a cast iron frame. Key features include a 1.15 service factor (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications), Class F insulation, a rigid base with a 56C-face and removable base, premium efficiency, Class B temperature rise, inverter duty capability with 10:1 constant torque / 20:1 variable torque, and inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. Additionally, these motors feature pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frames and up for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings without machining, an exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system, double drilled feet for mounting flexibility on 143T-404T, and compatibility for F1 to F2 conversion on 254T and larger models.
