Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are specifically designed for use in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose installations that benefit from cooler-running, non-enclosed motors. These premium efficiency ODP motors are available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125 and offer speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM. They operate on 208-230/460 Volt, 60 Hz and 190/380 Volt, 50 Hz power supplies. The motors feature IP23 degree of protection, with a rolled steel frame for models 1/2-50 HP and a cast iron frame for models 60-100 HP. They utilize a rigid base design (56C-face with removable base) and have a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications) along with Class F insulation and Class B temperature rise ratings. These motors are inverter duty rated with a 10:1 CT and 20:1 VT (1.0 SF), and the inverter grade magnet wire complies with or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. Additionally, they feature pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and larger models for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings, along with an exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system. The motors also come with double drilled feet to allow for mounting flexibility (143T-404T), and 254T and larger units are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
