Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are expertly engineered for use in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose applications where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are preferred. These premium efficiency ODP motors come with horsepower ratings ranging from 1/2 to 125 HP and operate at speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM. They are designed for voltage options of 208-230/460 Volt at 60 Hz and 190/380 Volt at 50 Hz, featuring an open drip proof (ODP) enclosure. The motors utilize a rolled steel frame for ratings of 1/2-50 HP and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP, providing IP23 protection and a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications). They employ Class F insulation with a Class B temperature rise, and are inverter duty rated with a 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT (1.0 SF). The inverter grade magnet wire meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. Additionally, pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and larger facilitate the installation of Inpro current diverter rings without any machining required. The exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system enhances durability, while the double drilled feet on 143T-404T models provide mounting flexibility. For models 254T and larger, they are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion, ensuring adaptability to various installation needs.
