Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are engineered for use in HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general-purpose installations requiring cooler-running, non-enclosed motors. These premium efficiency ODP motors range from 1/2 to 125 horsepower, featuring speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM, and operate at voltage ratings of 208-230/460 Volt, 60 Hz, or 190/380 Volt, 50 Hz. The motors possess an open drip proof enclosure and come with a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP, providing IP23 protection and a 1.15 service factor (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications). They include Class F insulation, a rigid base (56C-face with removable base), a Class B temperature rise, and inverter duty ratings of 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT (1.0 SF). Additionally, the inverter-grade magnet wire meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 part 31 standards. The designs feature pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and larger for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings, while the exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system enhances durability. The motors provide double-drilled feet for mounting flexibility (143T-404T), and motors 254T and larger are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
