Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are engineered for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose applications where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are beneficial. Available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125, these premium efficiency ODP motors feature an IP23 degree of protection and a double vacuum pressure impregnation process for winding insulation. Key specifications include speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM, with voltage options of 208-230/460 Volt at 60 Hz or 190/380 Volt at 50 Hz. The motors have an open drip proof enclosure, a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP, and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP. They provide a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 for 50 Hz applications), Class F insulation, and a rigid base featuring a 56C-face with a removable base, ensuring premium efficiency and a Class B temperature rise. Inverter duty is supported with a 10:1 CT and 20:1 VT at 1.0 SF, with inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards. The design includes pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on the 143T frame and larger, allowing for simple installation of Inpro current diverter rings without machining. The motors also feature an exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system, double drilled feet for mounting flexibility on the 143T-404T frames, and suitability for F1 to F2 conversion on 254T and larger models.
