Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are engineered for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose installations where cooler-running, non-enclosed motors are suitable. Available in horsepower ratings from 1/2 to 125, these premium efficiency ODP motors feature IP23 degree of protection and a double vacuum pressure impregnation process for winding insulation, making them an excellent choice for various industrial and commercial applications. The motors operate at 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM and are compatible with 208-230/460 Volt at 60 Hz or 190/380 Volt at 50 Hz. The enclosure is ODP with a rolled steel frame for 1/2-50 HP and a cast iron frame for 60-100 HP. Key attributes include a 1.15 service factor (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications), Class F insulation, and a rigid base design (56C-face with removable base). Additionally, they are rated for premium efficiency, with a Class B temperature rise and inverter duty capabilities of 10:1 CT / 20:1 VT (1.0 SF). The inverter grade magnet wire meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards, while pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frame and larger allow for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings without machining. The motors also feature double drilled feet for mounting flexibility and sizes from 254T and larger are suitable for F1 to F2 conversion.
