Worldwide Electric's open drip proof (ODP) motors are designed for HVAC and refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and general purpose installations, providing an efficient cooling solution with non-enclosed design. These premium efficiency ODP motors range from 1/2 to 125 horsepower, with operational speeds of 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM, and are compatible with both 208-230/460 Volt, 60 Hz and 190/380 Volt, 50 Hz power supplies. Featuring an open drip proof enclosure, rolled steel frames for 1/2-50 HP models, and cast iron frames for 60-100 HP models, they offer IP23 protection and a service factor of 1.15 (1.0 SF for 50 Hz applications). The motors are built with Class F insulation and a rigid base (56C-face with removable base), ensuring premium efficiency with a Class B temperature rise. Designed for inverter duty with a 10:1 CT and 20:1 VT (1.0 SF), they utilize inverter grade magnet wire that meets or exceeds NEMA MG-1 Part 31 standards, as well as an exclusive double vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) insulation system. The models feature pre-drilled and tapped drive endbells on 143T frames and larger for easy installation of Inpro current diverter rings and double drilled feet for mounting flexibility (143T-404T), while 254T and larger models support F1 to F2 conversion.
