The Globes GCM series is designed for laboratory use, providing reliable performance for spinning down microcentrifuge tubes, PCR tubes, and PCR strips. This mini centrifuge operates quickly and easily; simply close the lid to reach a maximum speed of 7,000 RPM (2680 x g), and open the lid for immediate deceleration. The kit includes an eight (8) position rotor for 1.5 / 2.0 ml tubes, a rotor for 16 position 0.2 ml PCR tubes and strips, along with eight (8) adapters for 0.2 ml tubes and eight (8) adapters for 0.5 ml tubes. Rotor changes can be done without tools, allowing for effortless swapping by pulling up to remove and pressing down to replace. The GCM also features multiple lid color options in red, blue, or green, fast acceleration and braking, and a "close to start - open to stop" functionality. The compact design makes it small, lightweight, and portable, while operating quietly to maintain a conducive lab environment. Warranty details are provided according to standard terms.
