The Globes GCM series mini centrifuge is engineered for laboratory applications, efficiently handling a variety of tube types including microcentrifuge tubes, PCR tubes, and PCR strips. It features a user-friendly operation where closing the lid accelerates the unit to a speed of 7,000 RPM (2680 x g) for quick spin-downs, while opening the lid allows for immediate deceleration. The kit includes an eight (8) position rotor for 1.5 / 2.0 ml microcentrifuge tubes, a rotor designed for 16 PCR tube positions (for 0.2 ml tubes and strips), along with eight (8) adapters for 0.2 ml tubes and eight (8) adapters for 0.5 ml tubes. The EZ-Swap rotor attachments can be easily interchanged without the need for tools, and the compact design enhances portability while ensuring quiet operation. The GCM series is available in three lid colors: red, blue, or green, making it not only functional but also customizable to suit user preferences.
