Building on the solid platform of Globe Scientific's standard clinical centrifuge, the GCC-E features an enhanced user interface with an easy-to-read backlit LCD display, high accuracy, and automated self-diagnosis on startup. It is suitable for a variety of clinical and research applications, including a twelve (12) position rotor that accommodates 5 ml, 7 ml, or 10 ml culture or blood collection tubes, as well as up to eight (8) 15 ml tubes, with all adapters included. Programming is user-friendly, allowing settings by either speed (RPM) or G-force, and a quick spin function enables effortless spin downs without a timed program. Safety features include an electronic locking lid that prevents premature opening after protocol completion. The GCC-E offers maintenance-free motor operation, audible alerts, quick acceleration and deceleration, and a door interlock, along with excessive speed detection and automatic self-diagnosis capabilities that show accumulated run time and retain the last set parameters.
