Globe Scientific's GCM-R-24 refrigerated microcentrifuge is designed for temperature-sensitive samples, enhancing the capabilities of the GCM-24 with refrigerated control. This centrifuge is suitable for various applications, including molecular biology and chemistry, featuring an intuitive button and knob interface for easy programming. It includes a high-strength 24-place aluminum alloy rotor, which is fully autoclavable and comes with a biosafety aerosol containment lid. The GCM-R-24 efficiently cools both the rotor chamber and samples down to 4°C within just seven minutes of operation, even at maximum speed and capacity utilization. Additional features include pre-cooling functionality to ensure optimal sample protection, an audible alert function, a dual lid lock to maintain temperature post-centrifugation, intermittent temperature control mode, CFC-free refrigerant, and a low carbon life rotor capacity.
