The Globes GCM series mini centrifuge is designed for laboratory use, offering reliable performance for spinning down microcentrifuge tubes, PCR tubes, and PCR strips. Operating the GCM is straightforward; simply close the lid to accelerate to 7,000 RPM (2680 x g) and open the lid for quick deceleration. Each unit includes an eight (8) position rotor for 1.5 / 2.0 ml tubes, a rotor that accommodates 16 positions for 0.2 ml PCR tubes and strips, as well as eight (8) adapters for 0.2 ml tubes and eight (8) adapters for 0.5 ml tubes. The EZ-Swap rotor attachments can be interchanged without any tools, allowing for easy rotor changes by simply pulling up to remove and pressing down to replace. The centrifuge features fast acceleration and braking, operates quietly, and is small, lightweight, and portable. The GCM series is available in three lid colors: red, blue, or green.
