The 3M Secure Click™ particulate filter N95 D7N11 is designed to be used with 3M Secure Click™ cartridges from the D8000 series, providing robust particulate protection when paired with 3M Secure Click™ facepieces. To attach two D7N11 filters to each cartridge, the 3M Secure Click™ filter retainer D701 is required. This particulate filter is essential in environments where airborne particulates, vapors, or acid gases are present, commonly filtering solids from processing minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, flour, and similar substances. It can also handle liquid or oil-based particles from non-harmful vapors and metal fumes created during welding, brazing, cutting, and heating operations. However, it is important to note that the D7N11 filter is not suitable for environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH), sandblasting, or those containing asbestos. Users are advised to replace the filters if they become dirty, damaged, or impair breathing. Additionally, 3M provides an online tool to assist in selecting appropriate respirators, cartridges, and filters based on workplace respiratory hazards, featuring the 3M Select and Service Life Software, which includes data on over 700 different chemicals and offers documentation of user selections.
