The kit includes a unique center adapter designed to direct exhaled breath and moisture downward, which helps reduce debris from depositing in the valve and allows for quick and easy cleaning. It features a large lens that provides a wide field of view and excellent visibility. The 3M™ Cool Flow™ valve ensures cooler, drier comfort. The lightweight and well-balanced design incorporates a silicone face seal for enhanced comfort and durability. This respirator operates in air purifying respirator (APR), supplied air (SA), and powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) modes. It is compatible with 3M™ cartridges from the 6000 series, as well as 3M™ filters from the 2000, 2200, 7000, or 5000 series; or 3M™ dual airline systems, offering protection against a variety of gases, vapors, and particulate hazards in accordance with NIOSH approvals. Spare parts are available. When properly fitted and used with approved 3M™ cartridges and filters, it provides respiratory protection against various gases, vapors, and particulate hazards at concentrations up to 10 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL). This product is not intended for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH).
