3M™ Secure Click™ particulate filter P100 D3091 is NIOSH-approved, designed to filter a broad range of oil and non-oil based airborne particulate contaminants. The D3091 particulate filters are intended for use with 3M™ Secure Click™ facepieces and feature the Secure Click™ connection style, which enables a quick and simple connection; users can align the connections on the facepiece and filter and push until they hear a click, providing confidence that the filters are installed properly. These filters are dual-flow, allowing for easier breathing, and are made with proprietary advanced electrostatic media (AEM) consisting of highly charged microfibers arranged in an open formation to enhance airborne particle capture while allowing greater air passage. The D3091 particulate filters are flame and water resistant and can be used in various applications such as grinding, sanding, and welding. Common uses include filtering solids from processing minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, flour, and certain other substances, as well as liquid or oil-based particles from non-harmful vapor sprays and metal fumes from welding and cutting operations. The D3091 can also help reduce exposure to radioactive particulate materials such as uranium and plutonium and may be used for asbestos. However, it is not suitable for environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH), sandblasting, or environments that contain hazardous levels of organic vapors and/or acid gases.
