The 3M Attest Rapid 5 Steam-Plus test pack is a biological indicator test pack that includes a 3M Attest 1292 rapid readout biological indicator and a 3M Attest 1243 steam chemical integrator. It is designed to provide a resistant challenge to the steam sterilization process, comparable to the AAMI 16 towel pack. The test pack monitors steam sterilization processes at 132°C (270°F) for 4 minutes and 121°C (250°F) for 30 minutes using gravity displacement. Results are available in three hours when incubated in a 3M™ Attest™ Auto-Reader 390, with color-coded indicators for quick reference and user convenience. Each box, model number 41382, contains 16 test packs along with 16 control Bis, ensuring comprehensive monitoring of the sterilization process.
