MTC Bio's BetterBox™ is an autoclavable polypropylene storage box specifically designed to securely hold 81 x 1.5ml or 2.0ml microtubes in nine rows of nine tubes, accommodating both snap cap and screw cap types. The design includes a sturdy hinge and locking clasp that prevent the lid from becoming separated or lost. It features a frosted marking spot molded into the front edge and top surface for easy identification. The box is available in a rainbow pack of five colors with clear lids and bases, and the colored middle layer can be snapped out to allow for easy filling of the base with crushed ice or liquid. Made from autoclavable virgin polypropylene, it is also capable of withstanding temperatures down to -80° C. The special corner feet interlock with grooves in the top of the lid for stable stacking and transport. Dimensions of the BetterBox are 150 x 160 x 54 mm (W x L x H), offering benefits such as organized and secure storage, 81-place capacity for 1.5ml microtubes, black alphanumeric identification, a removable insert, and compatibility with crushed ice.
