MTC's ProPette NuvaClean™ is the first and only pipette rack designed to organize and protect six pipettes while eliminating greater than 99% of unwanted contamination through the use of a germicidal UV-C lamp. The system incorporates a high-efficiency reflector/concentrator that bathes pipette shafts in 254nm UV light, effectively destroying microbiological contaminants and preventing cross-contamination in sensitive procedures such as PCR. Users can easily place any single-channel pipette of any range or brand into the NuvaClean™ and initiate the auto-decon cycle by pressing the "Start" button. After a 28-minute cycle, the NuvaClean™ automatically powers down, ensuring that up to six pipettes are safe, clean, and ready for use.
