Benchmark Scientific hotplates, stirrers, and hotplate stirrers are designed for reliable performance and safe operation in laboratory environments. The series includes space-efficient models with dimensions of 7x7 inches and 10x10 inches, featuring a durable, chemical-resistant white ceramic top plate and advanced microprocessor controls. The constant monitoring system provides precise temperature control with rapid heating and quicker boiling times, while a powerful motor drive system ensures effective mixing for larger and more viscous samples. Temperature settings range from ambient +5 to 400°C, and mixing speed is adjustable from 150 to 1500 RPM, with both values displayed on a large digital display. A safety LED indicates when the top plate temperature exceeds 50°C. For applications requiring precise temperature control, an external temperature probe can be used, offering direct feedback to the microprocessor for constant monitoring and adjustments within +/- 1°C of the selected temperature. All models are compatible with borosilicate glass beakers and other vessels, accommodating a maximum stirring volume of 5 L for the 7-inch stirrers and 15 L for the 10-inch stirrers. Additionally, an optional clamp assembly is available for mounting thermometers, temperature probes, and other accessories.
