Benchmark Scientific hotplates, stirrers, and hotplate stirrers are designed for reliable performance and safe operation in everyday laboratory settings. The series includes space-efficient models with dimensions of 7x7 inches and 10x10 inches, featuring a durable, chemical-resistant white ceramic top plate and advanced microprocessor controls. The constant monitoring system offers precise temperature control, with a range from ambient +5°C to 400°C and mixing speeds from 150 to 1500 RPM, all displayed on a large digital screen. Safety is enhanced with an LED indicator that lights up when the top plate temperature exceeds 50°C. Additionally, an external temperature probe can be employed for applications needing precise control of sample temperature, providing direct feedback to the microprocessor, allowing constant monitoring, and maintaining the selected temperature within +/- 1°C. All models are compatible with borosilicate glass beakers and other vessels, accommodating a maximum stirring volume of 5 L for the 7-inch stirrers and 15 L for the 10-inch stirrers. An optional clamp assembly is also available for mounting thermometers and temperature probes.
