The Triplett model GSM400 indoor air quality CO2 meter is designed to measure CO2, temperature, humidity, wet bulb, and dew point, making it suitable for assessing air quality in various environments such as office buildings, schools, exhibition halls, shopping malls, meeting rooms, fitness centers, and restaurants. This meter utilizes NDIR (non-dispersive infrared) waveguide technology and features a backlit triple LCD display that simultaneously shows CO2, temperature, and relative humidity. It includes TWA (time weighted average - 8 hours) and STEL (short term exposure limit - 15 minute weighted average) measurement capabilities, along with a user-adjustable CO2 alarm level. Key features consist of min/max functionality to record the highest and lowest readings, a data hold function to freeze the displayed reading, and an auto power off feature with disable options to enhance battery conservation. The device is F/C selectable and comes complete with (4) AA batteries and a carrying case. It is backed by a 1 year warranty.
